Corinne Lapierre Logo

Corinne left a career in fashion design to look after her three young children. After a few years at home she was really missing being creative and learnt millinery (hat making). This is how she discovered felt and it was love at first sight! The more she learnt about this amazing material and its versatility, the more she felt inspired.  At Christmas time Corinne decided to make a little kit for people to make felt gingerbread men. It was an instant hit! she realised people where keen to learn and make so in 2010, the business was born!

All the kits are made in Yorkshire, by a small but very efficient team who are passionate about crafts and creativity.  The felt they use is soft and luxurious with 45% wool and 55% viscose from UK suppliers.

Passionate about what she does and keen to inspire others Corinne has published a couple of books on making fun things with felt which we also have available.

Corinne's brand has been shortlisted for British Brand of the Year by Craft Business Magazine and some of her designs have been shortlisted for Gift of the Year by the Giftware Association.
