Double Edged Safety Shaving Razor Ebony
The ebony thin handled double-edged safety razor is based on a classic design that has stood the test of time. It's sleek, lightweight, easy to hold and manoeuvre, and its shape virtually eliminates the risk of nicks, even in the trickiest places, making it the perfect razor for all shavers, wherever you choose to shave. Made in the UK from steel, brass and chrome, the insert in the handle is made from recycled plastic. Included in the box the razor comes with 5 x blades to help get you started.
The benefits of using a double-edged safety razor are:
- The single blade causes less irritation to the skin, resulting in for men less rashing and spotting around the neck, for women who shave their legs less itchy grow back and ingrown hairs,
- No single-use disposable plastic so your environmental impact is greatly reduced,
- Razor blades are much cheaper than heads for other razors, 200 razor blades cost about £20 so you save a fortune on razor blades.
Unscrew the head and insert a blade, hold the razor to your face at an angle of between 30 to 45 degrees. Allow the weight of the razor to ‘power’ the shave, using short strokes. When the razor becomes blunt it will ‘hang’ on the hair, when this happens rotate the razor or change the blade.
You must be over 18 years old to buy this razor.
Made In Sheffield
Norses owner and founder, Iain, is a man with a face. True story. He has a pretty splendid beard and much as he wanted a sweet smelling and itch free face mane, he was getting pretty fed up of being a grease monkey with no pennies left in his pocket in his search for an epic beard product. Thus, Norse was born.
At Norse they make naturally great grooming products for the bearded, smooth-faced and mustachioed men of the world. Norse oils, waxes and salves are handmade in Kingston-upon-Thames with natural ingredients. No fake news here. They're packed with essential oils that all do important jobs, like promoting healthy circulation, smelling great, and keeping bacteria off your beard hair, because eeeew.
Their razors are produced especially for Norse in the steel capital of the UK, Sheffield. The traditional single blade razors offer a close, precision shave and look after your skin by shaving once with a sharp blade. Sound obvious? Plastic razors often have more than one blade. Imagine peeling a potato with 4 or 5 peelers at the same time. Now imagine your face is a potato. I think we've made a point. The plastic free, environmentally (and wallet) friendly razors are great for men and women - no judgement here about what you want to shave. They also look pretty snazzy and make pleasing bathroom furniture.
